Lumps, Bumps and Things That are Art

Van Harrison Gallery, New York, USA - Solo show

Water damage stains painted at various locations in and around the gallery, staircase and restroom with acrylic paint, dry pastels and coffee. Resin and plexiglas on the floor further extended the feeling of water in a state of evaporation.

A hole in the ceiling was brought to attention by mirroring it on the mezzanine floor in the exact dimensions its reflection would have had. The metaphoric reflection is a 3 dimensional entity (exposing the guts of the building) that refers to a 2 dimensional occurrence.
